Fox News’ Kat Timpf has earned a wave of praise from fans after stepping up to host Gutfeld! on Thursday night, just days after returning from a planned health-related break.

With Greg Gutfeld away for his appearance on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Timpf, 36, took the reins, leading a panel that included comedian Joe Machi, Western Razor co-founder David Angelo, contributor and author Kennedy, and former pro wrestler Tyrus. Delivering the show’s trademark monologue filled with sharp takes on the day’s news, Timpf quickly drew positive reactions on social media.

“Great job, Kat,” one fan posted in response to her clip on X. Another wrote, “I watched it and I have to say I laughed out loud,” while others chimed in with, “Most excellent!” and “You did a great job filling in as host!”

A Triumphant Return

Timpf’s hosting duties came shortly after her Monday return to the show following weeks away for surgery related to her February breast cancer diagnosis. She revealed she learned the news just hours before giving birth to her first child, calling the journey a long but determined road to recovery.

“When I came back, I said I still had some surgeries to go,” she shared in mid-July. “Even with the best-case scenario of breast cancer, [it] can involve quite a road to feeling whole again. So this is the first step in that.”

Making Headlines and Holding Court

On Thursday’s broadcast, Timpf didn’t shy away from hot-button topics. She addressed Sydney Sweeney’s American Eagle ad campaign and the revelation that the actress registered as a Republican in Florida. “Who cares?” Timpf remarked. “Lots of people are Republicans, and it shouldn’t be that groundbreaking to find out that somebody, who’s wealthy, especially, is a Republican.”

Her confident hosting style, mixed with humor and candor, has solidified her as a fan favorite — and proved she can carry Gutfeld! in the host’s absence.
