With tension rising behind the scenes and fans picking sides, the couple’s chemistry is under the spotlight like never before. What did Mark do that crossed the line—and will their on-screen dynamic survive?

Tap here to uncover the full explosive moment that has fans buzzing nonstop.

Kelly Ripa isn’t here for early-morning romance — and she’s not afraid to say it.

The Live with Kelly and Mark star, 54, got candid about husband Mark Consuelos’ bedroom preferences during a recent appearance on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, revealing she’s absolutely repulsed by his timing.

‘I find it disgusting,’ Ripa said, explaining that Consuelos, also 54, prefers to have sex ‘only in the morning.’

But that’s not all — Ripa says he’s also eager to kiss her first thing in the morning, which she finds anything but sexy.

‘I have a retainer in. I gotta rip that out,’ she said. ‘And he’s got his nasal strips on. It’s like we are the most repulsive, disgusting [people].’

She didn’t stop there, adding with a laugh: ‘I’m already pre-disgusted for tomorrow morning.’

The longtime couple met on the set of All My Children back in 1995 and tied the knot the following year.

They’ve since welcomed three children together: Michael, 28, Lola, 24, and Joaquin, 22.

‘He’ll never learn. He’s a guy,’ Ripa continued to joke on the podcast, before revealing she’s had to lay down some ground rules with her husband of 29 years about when intimacy is—and isn’t—on the table.

‘I said to him, “Here’s the thing,”‘ she recalled. ‘There needs to be a yin and a yang here. It can’t always be your way. ’Cause it feels like 90 percent of the time it’s your way. And now that we work together every day, it’s gonna have to sometimes be my way, and my way’s at night only.’

While Consuelos may prefer morning romance, Ripa made it clear that’s not happening on a daily basis—especially now that they cohost Live with Kelly and Mark together.

‘The greatest thing about this job, this thing has like, almost repulsed him from morning time during the work week,’ she said. ‘Which is like a miracle.’

Then, with her signature bite, she added: ‘May this show last until he suffers from erectile dysfunction.’

Not done roasting her man, Ripa questioned why that hasn’t already kicked in: ‘Shouldn’t that be happening now? I was promised!’ she laughed.

Still, despite the joking and mismatched timing, Ripa had no problem dishing on how they’ve managed to keep their nearly 30-year marriage hot.

‘It’s like exercise. The more you do it, the more you do it,’ she said of their sex life. ‘You just have to do it, and then you’re like, “Oh! I remember why I like this.”‘

But she admitted keeping that spark alive hasn’t always been easy—especially during the chaos of parenting and work.

‘You’re exhausted, your kids are young, you’re working full-time, you have a lot on your plate, and that can easily get pushed by the wayside,’ she shared.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Kelly Ripa has gotten brutally honest about her and Mark’s sex life.

Back in 2023, during an episode of her podcast Let’s Talk Off Camera — with Mark as her guest — the couple opened up about keeping the spark alive while he was away filming Riverdale for ten months in 2020.

Ripa revealed they started what she called ‘sexual rituals’ over FaceTime — and admitted they got pretty out there.

‘Ludicrous,’ she called them, joking that during their virtual sessions, she got ‘really close to [herself].’

As for what those steamy calls looked like, Ripa described one memorable visual setup: ‘I became so alarmed at my appearance over FaceTime that I started rigging the computer to hang from a ladder,’ she said. ‘I hung the computer over a ladder so that I could look up to Mark and he did not have to see what gravity was actually doing,’ she quipped.

Mark didn’t hold back either, admitting that his only ‘potential deal-breaker’ in their marriage would be if she ever ‘cut [him] off sexually.’

He clarified: ‘Unless you had some type of medical condition where, like, you lost the use of [your body].’

Ripa was quick to remind him that they already had a glimpse of abstinence during her menopause. To which Consuelos replied: ‘I didn’t give you a break. There have never been months [without sex] unless I was in another country.’

Nearly 30 years in, and clearly, these two are still keeping things spicy — even if it sometimes involves a ladder and a little tech creativity.
