Meghan McCain is firing back — loudly — after becoming the target of a vile rant on The Tucker Carlson Show.

The conservative commentator and The View alum took to X on Thursday after Wednesday’s episode of Carlson’s podcast featured guest Milo Yiannopoulos repeatedly referring to her as “fat,” an “ostentatious f– hag,” and mocking her appearance while Carlson sat silently.

In the episode, Yiannopoulos was discussing closeted conservatives and pivoted to attack the late Sen. John McCain — and then his daughter.

“Is there anything gayer than John McCain’s bloodlust?”
“I mean, he’s even got the fat friend — it’s his daughter.”
“He even bred the fat best friend… Is there a more ostentatious f– hag in America than Meghan McCain?”

Carlson did not challenge or interrupt the tirade.

Meghan Responds: “I’m Almost 9 Months Pregnant — Yes, I’m Fat, and I’m Happy.”

Now pregnant with her third child, McCain responded with clarity and fire:

“Yes, I am very fat, I’m almost 9 months pregnant with my third child. I am also very happy.”

She blasted Carlson — who frequently invokes his Christian faith — for allowing and platforming the insults:

“I don’t care how many times Tucker talks about being a Christian — that is not Christian behavior. This kind of meanness to women and hypocrisy is a classic example of why the right has such a problem with women voters of my generation.”

McCain emphasized she isn’t seeking sympathy:

“People have been calling me fat since I started in media at age 22. It is old, lazy, tired.”

But she made clear the cruelty says far more about the men delivering it:

“I don’t make my living off of ugliness like that and truly can’t fathom what life is like for anyone who does. It must be very dark.”

Silence from Carlson, Outrage Online

As of Friday morning, Carlson has not issued any statement about the segment or addressed Yiannopoulos’ language. Clips of the exchange went viral overnight, prompting bipartisan condemnation.

McCain, who has often criticized extremes on both the right and left, received an outpouring of support from journalists, politicians, and fellow mothers.
