Euphoria Season 3 Expands Its Star Power with Trisha Paytas, Rosalía, and Sharon Stone Joining the Cast

Trisha Paytas Opens Up About Being Canceled Online

The long-awaited third season of HBO’s hit series Euphoria is shaping up to be its boldest and most unexpected yet. Alongside returning fan favorites Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, and Jacob Elordi, the new season will welcome an eclectic mix of newcomers, including Trisha Paytas, Danielle Deadwyler, Sharon Stone, and global music sensation Rosalía.

After months of speculation and production delays, Euphoria’s creative team has finally confirmed that several beloved supporting characters will also make a comeback. Dominic Fike is reprising his role as Elliot, the enigmatic musician introduced in Season 2, while Paula Marshall will return as Marsha, the chillingly composed drug dealer who loomed large over Rue’s struggles. Fans can also look forward to seeing Nika King as Rue’s mother and Alanna Ubach as Cassie and Lexi Howard’s mom in multiple new episodes.

However, not every familiar face will return to East Highland High. Following the tragic death of Angus Cloud in July 2023, the show will respectfully write off his character, Fezco — a fan-favorite who brought unexpected tenderness and humor to the show’s gritty realism. In addition, Barbie Ferreira, who portrayed the outspoken and body-positive Kat Hernandez, has confirmed her departure, while Storm Reid, who played Rue’s younger sister Gia, is also stepping away from the series.

Despite her exit, Storm remains deeply connected to the show that helped define a generation. Speaking to Rotten Tomatoes last November, she said, “I’m very excited for Season 3. I am so, so indebted to the cast and crew of that show, to HBO.” Reflecting on her experience, the newly minted USC graduate added, “I’m so glad that that’s a part of my legacy and that I was part of such a cultural phenomenon.”

Inside Trisha Paytas' 'Bonkers' Broadway Debut: 'Trisha Paytas' Big Broadway Dream'

As Euphoria prepares for what’s expected to be its final season, creator Sam Levinson has hinted at a darker and more introspective tone, exploring themes of identity, fame, and redemption in a post-pandemic world. With new stars like Trisha Paytas — known for her viral online persona — joining the ensemble, fans are already buzzing about how her unpredictable energy might blend into the show’s intense emotional landscape. Meanwhile, Sharon Stone’s and Rosalía’s additions promise an exciting mix of Hollywood prestige and musical artistry.

While no official release date has been announced, production is reportedly underway, and HBO is expected to debut Season 3 sometime in 2025. One thing is certain: Euphoria’s final chapter is poised to be both visually dazzling and emotionally devastating — a farewell worthy of the series that redefined what teen television could be.
